contact with the ground. Quite
often, pain in the body results from
improper foot alignment that limits
the body’s ability to transfer weight
upwards. Once this is accomplished,
the remainder of the session focuses
on lengthening the long spinal
muscles to ease back tensions with
the client in either a prone or seated
position.
° Session 3
The third session addresses the sides
of the torso. The primary areas of
focus here are the armpits, shoulder
girdle, lateral ribcage, abdominal
wall muscles, gluteal muscles, and
iliotibial (IT) bands to establish healthy
functioning between the hip and
shoulder girdles.
